THE FLASH (2014)

 

Barry Allen was just 11 years old when his mother was murdered. His father was unjustly accused and convicted of the heinous crime. This family tragedy changed his life forever. Barry will grow up close to the family of his father's best friend, Detective West. He becomes an excellent crime scientist but remains socially maladapted, while his past does not help him change his behavior and character. Barry has a purpose in life, to reveal the truth about his mother's death. This determination and perseverance pushes him to deal with every inexplicable urban legend and every new scientific discovery. Barry's latest obsession is an advanced particle accelerator, created by visionary physicist Harrison Wells and his scientific team. But something will go terribly wrong with the public presentation of the accelerator. A terrible explosion will cause a paradoxical, catastrophic storm in which lives will be lost while Barry will fall into a coma for nine whole months. When he wakes up, he will realize that once again, his life changes dramatically. His accident has given him the superhuman power of super speed. Barry will find out that he is not the only one who was "affected" by the terrible explosion. And unfortunately most do not use enormous power for good but for dark, selfish purposes. As violence and crime continue to rise in the city, Barry will make a big decision, to become the patron saint of Central City, to use his charisma to protect innocent civilians while he continues to strive to fulfill his purpose: to solve the mystery of his mother's death and to "clear" his father's name, with the help of a few and faithful friends, who know his great secret…
